摘要: The redistribution of macromolecules dissolved in a paramagnetic solvent upon application of an inhomogeneous magnetic field has been observed. Using a special apparatus, this effect termed ``magnetosedimentation'' can be measured and used to determine the molecular weights of macromolecules.
