摘要:

This article defines neuroplascicity broadly and describes its functional and structural bases in normal development and development after injury. Examples of neuroplasticity in experimental animals and human disease are presented. Review of possible mechanisms of brain damage and dysfunction points to potential therapies that promise gratifying future developments in treatment of children with neurologic dysfunction.
