AbstractA short description is given of a newly developed system for electronic data processing of detail surveying in the“Offset System”. In this system the field measurements are analytically restituted with the help of an electronic computer and an automatic coordinatograph. The computer processes the field data into a“Numerical Map”which is in a form adequate for a direct input into an automatic coordinatograph for the production of a“Graphical Map”automatically. The basic rules of the system, the logical structure and the programme written for the electronic computer are briefly discussed.
