摘要:

AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to analyse some myths surrounding ageing. The particular focus is on myths associated with urinary incontinence in older people. It is suggested that nursing attitudes of acceptance and apathy promote urinary incontinence. The result of these attitudes is that the nursing profession demeans itself and creates an unfavourable environment in which to work.
