摘要:
Hypothyroidism is an endocrinopathy which encompasses many abnormalities of concern to the anesthesiologist who must provide general anesthesia to patients suffering from this disease entity. In severe cases, myocardial dysfunctions, electrolyte imbalance, and central nervous system disorders are common. Our contributors discuss these potential problems and outline their approaches to the preanesthetic, intraoperative, and postanesthetic management.
