摘要:

&NA;A patient who developed transtentorial herniation postoperatively was successfully treated by needle aspiration of the subdural space with removal of gas under pressure. This case demonstrates the diagnosis by CT scan and the successful management of expanding pneumocephalus due to the diffusion of nitrous oxide anesthetic into an intracranial air cavity.
