摘要:

This article is based on the report of the Subcommittee on Electronic Publications of the Committee on Publications of the American Statistical Association. It reports on existing instances of electronic publications, speculates on the future of electronic publications in statistics, discusses some steps that can be taken to ensure that electronic publications will optimally serve the statistics profession, and makes some recommendations for immediate action.
