Capture Rate of the12C(n,&ggr;)13C Reaction in Inhomogeneous Big‐Bang Models and Stellar Evolution

摘要:
The cross section of the12C(n,&ggr;)13C reaction was measured at neutron energy of 30 keV by detecting prompt &ggr;‐rays from the reaction. The cross section was obtained as 16.8±2.1 &mgr;b, which favors the nucleosynthesis of intermediate‐mass nuclei in inhomogeneous big‐bang models and in neutrino induced nucleosynthesis.
