摘要:
[11]CMethyliodide is a key to a large scale of11C-PET-radiopharmaceuticals. A method was devised for its efficient production in a yield between 85 and 90% within 7 minutes only. The use of tetrahydrofuran (THF) opens the possibility to absorb the starting [11C]CO2at room temperature. The methyl iodide generation from its precursor can be achieved in THF directly or in aqueous solution.
