摘要:
Remote sensing data can provide such a great deal of information on linear structures that one can apply a statistical and probability analysis studies of mineral deposits and other geological phenomena which are closely related to linear structures from remote sensing images. Many geological bodies and geological phenomena in nature are related only to linear structures, so that we can regard them as rare events occurring in a large number of random experiments that are considered as the linear structures in this test, and then analyse them using statistical and probability theories. This paper describes a method used by the author to predict the location of kimberlite which provides an important clue in searching for kimberlite in the study area.
