摘要:

We calculate the general static solutions of the scalar field equations for the potentialV(&fgr;)=−1/2M2&fgr;2+&lgr;/4&fgr;4for a finite domain in(1+1)dimensions. Solutions with vacuum-vacuum boundary conditions atx=±∞were firstly obtained by Dashen &etal; (DHN) [1]. We define expressions for the “topological charge”, “total energy” and “energy density” for general solutions in a finite domain. Also we calculate the quantum fluctuations and radiative corrections for general solutions. ©1999 American Institute of Physics.
