SummaryDescription of a case ofSchistosoma Intercalationschistosomiasis in which severe hepatic fibrosis was associated with haemolytic anemia. The presence of cold agglutinins and of other unusual antibodies could be demonstrated. This observation favours the role of immune mechanisms in the pathogenesis of schistosomiasis.
