On March 27, 1995, the IBR-2 fast pulsed reactor of periodic operation resumed operation for physical experiment after a replacement of the moveable reflector. The new reflector (shown in the photo) will operate for at least five years and ensure the realization of a broad experimental program at IBR-2. Despite the many problems Russian science faces at present, this very important and complicated work has been performed in due time and at a cost within a budget.
