摘要:

We show how the FNmethod for one speed neutron transport in finite slabs can be viewed as a transform of a problem on an infinite interval. This allows us to use an analysis based on the singular value decomposition to prove convergence of the method. Unlike previous work, the problem on the infinite interval is not the equation for the flux.
