摘要:
The biochemical mechanisms thought to contribute to the hypogonadism and“feminization”of chronically alcoholic men are reviewed. Alcohol abuse per se, and not the associated liver disease, is responsible for the hypogonadism. In contrast, feminization is a manifestation of both alcohol abuse and liver disease.
