Conclusion And SummaryOur study has been performed with precise diagnostic and follow-up criteria in 20 patients hospitalized for pulmonary infection. As a result of this strictly controlled trial we are concinced that minocycline is an antibiotic of great value. This antibiotic, easily administered (two oral doses a day), gave very good results in 80% of the cases, with only minor digestive side-effects in 20 % of the patients.
