AbstractSpacer‐modified polystyrene supports containing ether linkages were prepared by using chloromethylated polystyrene and 10‐undecen‐1‐ol orp‐hydroxylated polystyrene and 11‐bromo‐1‐undecene as starting materials. The polymerization ofp‐(6‐bromohexyloxy)styrene gave also spacer‐modified supports.
