摘要:

Fossils are rare in the indurated sediments forming the axial ranges of the North Island, classed as “undifferentiated greywackes of Jurassic-Permian age” in the Geological Map (1958), but which may be correlated with Suggate's Torlesse Group (1961) of the South Island. It is therefore worth while drawing attention to the following recent finds (Fig. 1).
