AbstractCosts of surveying and / or mapping projects are escalating and it is imperative that everyone who is responsible for carrying out such projects should look at ways and means of cutting their costs. This applies equally to those employed in a highly competitive private industry as it does to civil servants who are spending taxpayers' money.
