摘要:

Previously known only from two localities in north-eastern Italy (Provinces of Bolzano and of Sondrio),Amblystegium compactum(C. Muell.) Aust. (Musci) has been collected recently at Isola Madre (Lago Maggiore, Province of Novara). Its special ecology and its origin in Europe are briefly discussed.
