摘要:

An electrochemical HPLC-detector based on the Hg-drop principle is described. The new features of this detectro comprise a horizontally placed Hg-capillary and a pin moveable against the capillary opening to reduce the dropping time. The performance and price compare favourably with U. V. -dectors. While of lower sensitivity than a solid electrode detector it is advantageous with regard to simplicity of handling and absence of surface poisoning problems.
