SummaryChronic intoxication with inorganic bromide is described in a patient whose symptoms, for years1ascribed to neurocirculatory asthenia, disappeared f after stopping bromide intake. The finding of hyperchloremia and of a decreased serum anion gap were the hints towards the diagnosis.
