SUMMARYWood anatomical generic descriptions ofHenriquezia, PlatycarpumandGleasoniaare given and compared with data from Rubiaceae. An attempt is made to construct a cladogram according to Hennig's principles. The resulting arrangement of the taxa concerned is discussed and compared with earlier conclusions based on phenetic comparison.
