Parecoxib has comparable analgesic activity to ketorolac in patients with postoperative dental pain, according to new clinical trial results presented at the 9th World Congress on Pain [Vienna, Austria; August 1999]. IV or IM parecoxib provides pain relief over a wide range of doses and is well tolerated.
