An Institution of Production Engineers' Specialist Discussion took place at the London Penta on February 25 1976 and was attended by Ministry of Defence representatives, consultants and managers from a wide range of the manufacturing industry. The Chairman, Mr P.F. Jones (PA Management Consultants Ltd), welcomed the delegates to the Discussion and explained that the event was arranged in eight sessions with each of the speakers having a particular expertise in metrication.
