摘要:

A method is developed for the extraction of manganese(II) from salicylate solution with Tris(2-ethylhexyl)phosphate as extractant. Manganese is extracted quantitatively from 7×10−1mol/l salicylate solution at a pH 5.2–5.6 with 1.28mol/l Tris(2-ethylhexyl)phosphate (dissolved in toluene). The probable extracted species as ascertained by logD-logC plots is Mn(HSal)22T2EHP. The method permits separation of manganese(II) from commonly associated elements and has been extended for the separation and determination of manganese in alloys, pharmaceuticals and environmental samples.
