摘要:
The renal mechanisms that regulate potassium homeostasis tend to favor excretion, which helps explain why clinical states involving potassium deficits are more common than those involving potassium excess. Both types of disorder have Serious effects, especially on the heart. Clinical manifestations and management examples of both hyper-and hypokalemic states are discussed.
