摘要:
1.Treatment of triisobutyl borate with 2-pyridyllithium and with 2-pyridylmethyllithium gave lithium triisobutoxy-2-pyridylborate and lithium triisobutoxy (2-pyridylmethyl)borate, respectively.2.Treatment of the resulting salts with hydrochloric acid or hydrogen chloride gave pyridine and 2-picoline, respectively, together with boric acid or its esters.3.Treatment of the triisobutoxy-2-pyridylborate and triisobutoxy (2-pyridylmethyl)borate with water resulted in hydrolysis of the isobutoxy groups and formation of trihydroxy-2-pyridylborate and trihydroxy (2-pyridylmethyl)borate, respectively.4.Boiling of the trihydroxy-2-pyridylborate and trihydroxy (2-pyridylmethyl)borate with isobutyl alcohol resulted in esterification of the hydroxy groups in the complex anion with formation of triisobutoxy-2-pyridylborate and triisobutoxy (2-pyridylmethyl)borate, respectively.
