摘要:

Utilizing the “most cited journal” method, it was determined that 24 periodicals yielded 50% coverage of fishery biology by North American workers. One hundred and six periodicals yielded 75% coverage. Chronologically, a 9-year time span yielded 50% coverage and a 17-year time span yielded 75% coverage. Most papers became obsolete after 25 years.
