摘要:

The stability of a magnetic pulse with respect to ion acoustic‐electron drift waves is studied, using a realistic magnetic profile instead of the local approximation customarily analyzed. The stabilizing effect of nonlocal corrections is noted, and the condition for validity of local approximation in this case is obtained.
