This paper describes a method for measuring calcium and phosphorus levels in very small samples of dissolved enamel. The technique is an extension of a method first used by von der Fehr and Steinnes and involves irradiation of the enamel samples by thermal neutrons, the amounts of calcium and phosphorus present being calculated from measurements of the radio-isotope produced.
