AbstractThe Trustees of the King Edward's Hospital Fund for London are making an Award of $350 for the best essay relating to diabetes, by a non‐medical health professional, to be submitted to Practical Diabetes. The judges will be nominated jointly by the King's Fund and the Editorial Board of Practical Diabetes. The Award will be made in November 1985 and the winning essay will be published in the January 1986 issue of Practical Diabetes. In choosing the winning essay, particular emphasis will be placed by the judges on originality of subject and treatment, as well as the feasibility and significance for patient care of the content
