Abstract—This paper describes the device structure and novel fabrication techniques for an experimental full‐color ac plasma display. This device is composed of three vertically stacked twin‐substrate single‐color ac plasma display devices, each containing a gas mixture whose discharge emits one of the primary (red‐green‐blue) visible colors.
