SUMMARYOptimal growth and sporulation ofCeratocystis paradoxaoccurred at 30 C and atpH 4.5 with glucose as the carbon source and asparagine as the nitrogen source. Myoinositol, glucose and fructose were detected in the mycelium when glucose was the carbon source.
