SYNOPSISSix species of Crambinae described by Meyrick, and three by Tarns, from western South Pacific islands between the Louisiade Archipelago and Samoa, are redescribed and transferred fromDiptychophoraZeller toPareromeneOsthelder. Five new species and one new subspecies ofPareromeneare described. The zoogeography and phylogeny of the genus in this region are briefly described, and some additional notes on New Zealand species are given.
