AbstractHindered rotation around the S2CNR2bond ofN,N,N′,N′‐tetra‐alkylthiuram disulfides is observed by NMR. The assumption that oxidation of bis‐dithiocarbamato complexes of Zn, Cd and Hg yield thiuram disulfide complexes of these metals is confirmed by the NMR spectra which reveal a magnetic non‐equivalence of theN‐alkyl groups.
