The Archean carbonate rocks at Forsby and Bondökna contain sufficiently high limestone content to provide a source of raw material for the cement industry and, for this reason, have been the subject of close investigations. Special attention has been devoted to the calcite-dolomite ratios. Both deposits contain limestone and dolomite stone, but the known quantities of the latter are considerably greater at Bondökna.
