AbstractThis paper is a summary of the present basic information concerning the individual chemical, physical, and pyrochemical characteristics of the possible, more common soluble constituents present in porcelain enamel slips. The data were chosen with particular regard to their importance in the study of the nature and effect of the various soluble salts on properties of enamel slips and on their drying behavior.
