AbstractThe Toledo Ohio Disaster Medical Assistance Team spent nine days in South Dade County, Florida, providing emergency medical assistance to those who experienced the destruction of Hurricane Andrew. This paper describes the context and the shape of the pastoral care that evolved during and immediately following the deployment.
