Nymphs ofHyalomma impeltatumandH. dromedarii,fed as larvae on an infected calf transmitted fatalTheileria annulatainfection to two susceptible calves. The significance of these findings is discussed in relation to the epidemiology of tropical theileriosis in the Sudan.
