摘要:
AbstractThe controversy about the dangers of genetic manipulations and DNA recombination techniques has been raging since 1973 and now involves governments and the public as well as the scientific community.1A series of new findings seems to indicate that the risks are less than was at first thought, and a general consensus is building up in favour of a realistic assessment of the benefits of such research for molecular biology and its possible practical applications of value in medicine and public health.
