The following six papers were presented at a symposium at the Thirty-Third Annual Meeting of the American Association of Physics Teachers on 24 January 1964, in New York. The symposium was sponsored by the Association's Committee on Elementary Science. The program was arranged and the papers were collected by Robert Karplus, chairman of the committee. Owen Chamberlain served as chairman of the session.
