The beam dynamics issues presented by a high‐luminosity asymmetric electron collider ring (such as is required for a B meson factory) are described. Attention is focused on lattice aspects, on single‐beam effects, and on beam‐beam interaction effects. The over‐all conclusion is that a facility with a beam of (about) 3 GeV in one ring and a beam of (about) 9 GeV in a second ring having a luminosity of between 1033and 1034cm−2s−1is a feasible concept.
