While the thrust of this workshop has been toward the physics of spin dependent hard scattering of partons at collider energies, there has been an attempt to connect the discussion of a new program with the rich tradition of fixed target experiments at lower energies and tranverse momenta. Several contribution to this workshop are discussed in this context.
