62–65% reduction in the number of lesions was obtained in the treatment of 52 patients with acne vulgaris in this randomized single-blind study comparing a 5% benzoyl peroxide/2% miconazole cream (BPO-MCZ) with a 5% benzoyl peroxide gel (BPO).
