AbstractIt was with interest that we awaited the arrival of CP1 002, one of the first production batch models of the new photogrammetric plotter designed by Professor Thompson of University College London. This instrument, which attracted a great deal of attention when it was first exhibited at the Conference of Commonwealth Survey Officers in August 1971, is manufactured byCartographic Engineering Limitedof Salisbury and marketed by A. Clarkson&Co. Limited of London. It sells for just over£3,000.
