Increased flexibility is now possible in the choice of drug regimens for treating HIV infection, with a number of new drugs becoming available. However, several speakers at the 4th International Congress on Drug Therapy in HIV Infection [Glasgow, UK; November 1998] raised concerns relating to how the new drugs will fit into patient care.
