摘要:

SummaryA case of Pickwickian syndrome is reported. A benign evolution is noted when the patient returned to a normal weight.The results of the technical investigations, including the analysis of the respiratory response to carbon dioxide inhalation, are discussed.Recent concepts of the physiopathology of the“Pickwickian syndrome”are reviewed and applied to the interpretation of this case.
