摘要:

Net-winged midges (Diptera: Blephariceridae) are recorded for the first time from Palawan, Republic of the Philippines. The PhilippineBlepharicerabelong to the Orientalpusilla-group whose definition is expanded. Thepusilla-group is an isolated primitive group in the genus, resemblances in genitalia with eastern NearcticBlepharicera(of thetenuipes-group) are symplesiomorphic. All life stages of three new species ofApistomyia(A. latiforcepssp.n.,A. cinnamomeasp.n.,A. truncatasp.n.) from Palawan are described. A single male of an additionalApistomyiaspecies is reported from Mt. Apo, Mindanao but is not identified or named.
