摘要:

SUMMARYRadiographs are shown demonstrating a copious and unexpected flooding of the venous circulation with opaque fluid through direct absorption from the urethra.It is contended that these films reveal a degree of permeability of the urethral mucosa which is of significance in the transmission of drugs and bacteria from the urethral lumen to the blood stream.
